 ITINERARY

Day 1: Tehran

Arrival in Tehran is the most modern city and the capital of Iran. Today you will visit Carpet museums, then the Saad Abad palace in the Northern part of Tehran. This palace has a unique garden and 18 palaces dating back to the 19th century were once been Summer houses of Qajar and Pahlavi kings. After that walk in Tajrish Bazaar. Then take a walk in Tabiat bridge (Nature bridge) to have a view over the city. overnight Tehran

Day 2: Tehran_Ramsar

In the morning You can visit some of the most significant museums and palaces in Tehran. You will have a walking tour in the old part of Tehran which has been the capital of Iran since 1797. The tour includes Golestan Palace (UNESCO site) and Tehran Grand Bazaar. walking to the National JewelrMuseum, where you can see a collection of the most outstanding gems in the world (the museum opens Saturday till Tuesday). After that drive to Ramsar a city that lies at the coast of the Caspian Sea. You will enjoy the scenic roads which is the beginning of 9 days tour Iran north. Arriving in the evening have some time near the beach and rest in the hotel. overnight Ramsar.

Day 3 : Ramsar_Bandar Anzali

In the morning trekking in Javaher Deh village. It is a village hidden up in the Alborz mountains. Local people sell their home-made pickles and honey. There is a wide kind of attractions like the old mosque, lake and etc. In the afternoon drive to Bandar Anzali. Overnight Bandar Anzali

Day 4 : Bandar Anzali

In the morning you visit Bandar Anzali city. You will visit the most beautiful lagoon with lotus flowers. There you can watch birds flying in the sky. It is a memorable scene. You can taste local sea food here and wandering in Bazaar and taste local sweet and food. You visit an old lighthouse. Watch memorable sunset in the beach.

Day5 : Bandar Anzali_Masouleh_Masal

This day you will be trekking in the outskirt. You can visit Rud Khan castle it is a brick and stone medieval castle which once was military complex. Then visit Masouleh village with its unique architecture. The buildings are interconnected and have been built into the mountain. The Courtyards and roofs both serve as pedestrian areas similar to streets. No vehicle or motor is permitted to enter the city. You walk in the city and enjoy local people selling their handicrafts. After 2 or 3 hours wandering in the city. Drive toward Masal. It is a city in height. Arrive and rest in a wooden cottage. Overnight night in Masal

Day 6: Masal_Ardabil

Surprise! When you get up in the morning you see yourselves upon the clouds. The city is famous for its waterfalls. You experience interesting sightseeing. Trekking and enjoying your time for some hours. You will depart to Ardabil. It takes hours to arrive since you stop in the way such as in Poonel jungle and other attractions on the way. The road is famous for the most scenic one. Arriving in Ardabil and rest in the hotel. Overnight Ardabil.

Day 7: Ardabil_Sarein

Ardabil is known for its trade in silk and carpets. Ardabil rugs are renowned and the ancient Ardabil Carpets are considered among the best of classical Persian carpets. In the morning, visit  Sheikh Safi Adin Khanegah and Shrine Ensemble in Ardabil (UNESCO). It was built as a small microcosmic city with bazaars, public baths, squares, religious buildings, houses, and offices. After lunch goes to Sarein city. Sarein springs are near an inactive volcano in Mount Sabalan and its water contains Sulphur particles and it is believed that it is good for bone and joint pains. The word Sarein in the Persian dictionary means “Spring’s Outlet”. You can enjoy bathing there. Overnight Sarein

Day 8 : Tabriz

In the morning drive toward Tabriz. Visit Kaboud Mosque with intricately-painted, brilliantly blue tiles and calligraphy. Often referred to as the Blue Mosque, this magnificent landmark was extensively damaged by two 18th-century earthquakes. But as you stand before the north façade with much of its original tile work still intact. With a short walk near Blue mosque you visit Tabriz Museum. In the afternoon, walk in the Grand Bazaar, the only bazaar on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The present-day structure, a vast maze-like complex of bricked arches and vaulted passageways, still evokes the spirit of its earliest days when Tabriz was one of the most important commercial centers along the ancient Silk Road. End your day by visiting Shah Golu (El-Goli), a large park with an artificial lake in the middle. overnight Tabriz

Day 9 : Tabriz_Kandovan_Tehran

In the morning, take a 30-minute trip to KandovanThis village exemplifies manmade cliff dwellings that are still inhabited. Homes carved inside rocks, some of them 700 years old, the Kandovan village is said to have been partially formed by volcanic remains from a strong Mount Sahand eruptions hundreds of years ago. At noon take a flight to Tehran. A transfer will be arranged to IBIS hotel (a hotel near IKA)
